Title: Dark grey paint codes

Hi
I'm after some dark grey paint. It's to paint the front of the battery shield.  I assume it's db164/7164 but my paint guy only has db7167 in his system and it's described as matt. Is this colour pretty much close enough?

Black .
The shield in front of the battery should be (brush-)painted in black if you look through the grille, not (any) grey.

There is no special paint code known to the (generic) black that was used in the old days.
Maybe it was just a plain RAL code.

RAL9005 most likely.

Make sure the surround for the air filter cannister is black also.
