Who makes the most correct MB-Tex seat covers in bamboo for 68 280SL?

Hi Jaru:
Contact Ron Rabon in Georgia. He has come back out of retirement and makes excellent seat covers and the rest of the interior.
He did my leather seats, head rests, dashboard and rugs over 10 years ago. He also makes MB Tex material.
He is very reasonable. Say Tom From MASS recommended you.
His number is *82 1-770-463-2882. If you do not put in *82 you cannot get thru.

Hello Jaru,
Your interior looks great. :) ;D
Personally, if I were you (I know, I am not), I would keep it. ;)
Don't replace the complete interior. Only have the panel (the "bottom") replaced that is damaged but keep the remainder 95% of your factory-original interior.
You don't need to go with "all new" on a 48 years old car; it's original only once.
Just have the damaged section replaced.
A good shop can even match the color of the newly replaced section in order to make it look identical to the rest of your interior !
Good luck !

I fully agree with Achim. The crisp look of an original interior (seat cover etc.) is almost impossible to reproduce today. The techniques and materials from back then (some 50 yrs ago) is just not around anymore....
IMHO, go with a repair and refurbish of your original interior at a reputable shop.
