I have just removed the original real light lenses as they were cracked and had to break them out of the frames! I want to send the frames for re chroming but a little concerned that the new lenses might not fit without springing the frames which may damage the new chrome?
Mine lenses were glued in . Is there a common way of fitting the lenses please?
Many thanks

I know what you mean about springing the frames. I had to forcefully clamp the lens to the chrome to get it to sit flush. I used those plastic trigger type clamps and plenty of microfibers sandwiched in between. Then used clear epoxy on the back side seam. Came out good with no issues to chrome. There is a new mounting style aftermarket all red lens that doesnt use glue. Its set up like the newer 280 lenses and gets sandwiched in the fixture. I dont think anyone here has tried them yet but may be worth looking into. Link below
