Hello All, my 1967 230SL fuel pump stopping again, 3 for the 49 years I own it. I went to the Monterey CA dealer to get a new one. After about 10 minutes, I have told the pumps are no long available.
Can someone tell a place to a pump?
Thanks

It may be possible to have the pump rebuilt. It depends on internal condition and pump style (long or short). Chances are you have a short pump being it has been replaced in the past? There are a few new ones floating around from $800.00 to $1500.00!!
There are some rebuilt ones on E-Bay and other places. Or you can order a rebuild kit from Authentic Classics or other retailers listed on the vendors list. A general mechanic or someone with mechanical skills should be able to rebuild it if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.

Your car should have the "Long" style pump. The long pump is no longer sold new but the "short" pump is a direct replacement for it. The short pump new is topping $1500 now but if originality isn't a concern a Carter P4601HP has similar specs ans is far cheaper.

As mentioned above you can have your pump rebuilt for about $800
