Good day all,
Finally after around 20 years of dreaming, I was finally in a position to buy a Pagoda. After reading this site top to bottom, I followed advice and went for the best condition I could afford (any model/colour, as long as it was as close to original, rust free and mechanically sound). It took almost 12 months of searching, no easy task because there is a very small supply in Australia (especially right hand drive with those requirements). Finally a member on this site had one for sale (250sl, 1967), with the bonus of it being in Perth where I had just moved too, obviously meant to be! I new straight away it was the one for me so I broke the piggy bank and took the plunge. I have been driving it for a few weeks now and it goes perfectly (for a 50 year old car). One thing I have noticed is the looks/comments I get from friends and even total strangers, they really love the car. One reason I think of is that these classics remind us of the "good old days" when life was so much simpler. It certainly reminds me of my childhood every time I get into her, my dad had some old mercs when I was growing up and they were happy days😄. Anyway enough, love this site and attached are a few photos I had done in the local studio.

Nice to see you have found your car. I remember that car, I think it used to be in Melbourne and the last owner took it to Perth.
There are a couple of Members in WA and lots of help here on the Forum if needed, just ask the questions, there are lots of embers ready to help.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Garry, the car spent nearly all its life in the States, unusual for a right hand drive! It was brought back to Melbourne a few years ago and then onto Perth.
