Title: Pagoda in Nice
Post by: rbouch8828 on April 28, 2016, 17:02:38
I spotted a white Pagoda driving along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice heading East this morning in a long line of classic cars that included several 190's and a number of Alfa's. I am not sure where they were coming from or going to? I asked a woman in the tourist office in Vence and she said there had been a race of classic cars from Paris to Nice, so this could have been a part of that group on a tour of the coastal road heading toward Monaco.
Any other thoughts?
Roland

I read the document you sent the link to and that does sound like it was just what I saw. I wonder if the Pagoda in the group was a member?

Good chance it belonged to the classic car hire company who are based 50m back from the promenade. Pagoda hire is about £275 a day. I hired their 190SL a few years ago. It's the ultimate place to enjoy a drive in these cars, along the coast and round Monaco!
