Title: Insurance in UK for young driver
Post by: Tellurius on April 11, 2016, 13:10:23
I am contemplating buying a W113 SL in the UK but I am only 23 years old. Does anyone know whether UK classic insurance companies would be able to insure me or have any experience with insuring a young driver as the sole driver on a Pagoda?

I would simply call the insurance companies to get an idea. Just tell them whst you plan to purchase ... Approx value you plan to invest and your plans what to do with the car ... I.e. How many miles you plan to drive (weekends, car shows, etc.). They may ask you where you store or park it etc. ... this should give give you what you are looking for.

Google the usual suspects: Hagerty, Peter Best, Footman James - you'll get an idea from them.

I am thinking of using it as a daily driver, that is the problem.

All it costs is money. They're very accommodating!
