Title: Small Coolant leak
Post by: awolff280sl on April 03, 2016, 20:28:14
I've attached a picture since I don't know what to call the housing that holds the small coolant pipe to the WRD, as well as housing the TTS and temp probe.
I noticed a small leak around the coolant pipe to the WRD.
Should I just keep an eye on it, or should I be proactive?

I would remove it and check it out. If the tube is corroded from the inside out you will never know it until it blows. The metal tube at the base could be paper thin.

I agree with Tyler. Not hard to remove but the bolt holding the coolant pod could be stubborn as well as the sensor. Maybe spray penetrant in advance. If your lucky, could just be where the tube is welded to the pod. That is an easy fix for a welder.
