Does anybody know if there actually were any Pagoda's acting as police cars in the old days? At least, they were painted in police colours and labeled for different countries by the Danish toy maker Tekno. I had one of these when I was a young boy. Actually, still having it in a drawer somewhere, in pieces. Maybe it's time for a full frame-off rotisserie restauration? ::) Today, the Autobahn pace obviously is in need for competent persuaders :P. (Pics from Google+ and eBay)

Prior to leaving Germany as a teenager we loved to stand on the Autobahn overpass and watch the fast cars MB, BMW's Porsche etc. (1955 to 1957). The Police used Porsches at that time all white to chase after speeders. We called them Weise Mouse "White Mice"
We never saw a Pagoda as a Police Car.
