The check, er next issue is in the mail! Pagoda World 18 for the US was mailed yesterday, Thursday 10 March, the rest of the world is being mailed today, 11 March. Keep you eye on the post box!!
If you are a Full member and did not receive the edition that went out in September 2015, it's probably because your postal address is not correct in your profile. Please look at your personal profile in the Members section and ensure that it is complete and correct.

..., the rest of the world is being mailed today, 11 March. .....
How appropriate: 11.3 !!

Do you have 113 SL Group window stickers available. Want one maybe two. Who do I need to contact?

Hello Jonny,
Issue 18 along with the New Logo Stickers arrived today in my mailbox. It looks GREAT as always. Nicely Done!
Just a reminder to everyone check for the window stickers before discarding the envelope my stickers were left behind in the envelope when I pulled out Pagoda World Issue 18.
Happy Reading.

Hello Gentlemen.
I received Issue 18 with two logo stickers yesterday here in Japan.
It is a timely occasion that the new logo joins the rear window together with the previous one,
as very recently I have done refurbishment of the hardtop.
Thank you. ;)

It arrived! Thanks to all contributors and editor! Appreciated.
Now to find a sunny bench on the weekend with no one to bother me. Looks like winter has just broken in Paris --- knock on wood.

Still has NOT made it to Michigan...
Hi Michael,
could it be that all the PW shipments to Michigan were blue-raided and sent to Middle Tennessee State? ;) ;D
-
sent to Middle Tennessee State? ;) ;D
Not being native to Michigan, personally, I have no particular affinity for MSU. But the joke is well meant! Who the heck is Middle Tennessee? Well, those in East Lansing who asked the question Friday morning surely knew who they were on Friday afternoon! But I digress...
My STAR Magazine is one of the last to arrive in the country, with them being all mailed at the printer in Kentucky. However, the excuse for that is they are bulk mailed...if I recall PW is mailed out first class. If it's bulk mailed then I'll be the last to get PW.

Mike,
I think someone from the US Border Control quit his job and now works for the US Postal service, I think he knows you and is just holding your PW envelope to get you mad ~big grin~
Dieter
PS we both don't like the Border Control and I think they have our number :)

March 20 first day of Spring here in the states. Not received my copy of PW as well. Could be due to too much junk mail at USPS to deliver. Anything important, such as PW is not so important to USPS. They make more money on the junk mail.

Received mine today in Geneva, Switzerland. Great issue once again, read it cover to cover.
-
Received mine yesterday Duluth, MN USA
Very nice, especially all the pictures from PUB. Was there, saw it all

I received my issue a couple of days ago and commend all that were involved in putting together the great articles and photos. Really stunning! I have the PUB on my bucket list and look forward to meeting members and their cars someday. I am afraid it would be a bit far to go in my SL though not that I doubt the car wouldn't make it but the driver's left knee isn't what it used to be :P. I particularly like the Poster that Nicole Martin put together and would love to get my hands on one. The engine pictured looks vaguely familiar ;). Good job Ladies and Gentleman and I look forward to Pagoda world 19.

Mine arrived a couple of days ago here in Blacklick. Very impressive and well done! We are fortunate to have such a diverse and talented group of writers and technicians. Jacob was especially excited to see himself among those on the cover!

I got mine on the 20th. Interesting that those sent abroad seem to arrive before those in domestic US. Has the US Postal service shut down? Or are they just hibernating ?
-
The postal service in Canada seams to deliver more junk mail now then anything else. I don't think the US Post system is any better. However, for some reason unknown to me I got my PW issue a few days after it was posted. Mine arrived March 15 in my mailbox and I got it in the morning of the 16th of March when I walked my Golden Retriever.

Got mine on the 18th.
Thanks for the stickers.
-
Got mine last week. Love those stickers.

I became a full member a few days before the mailing date. Did I make the cut for the mailing list?
-
Hello Ralph,
Sorry about that, you became a full member Jan 10, 2016. PW issue 18 was posted in the beginning of March. When I joined I ordered some back issues like issue 10, 11 and 12 and I am glad I did. If you like you can do the same. We always do have some back issues left. Issue 15, 17 and 18 are very good (as all our issues are) issues and you can order them if you like. Should you need the link I add it below.

You will get issue 19 in the fall. I did mail you two window stickers with issue 16 as I recall I hope you enjoy that one.
Cheers,
Dieter
Edit ... Corrected typo

Thanks Dieter, I will follow up on the back issues.

Finally arrived on Friday, March 25.
I see that it came "Standard Mail" which was the reason for the time delay; it took 15 days to get to my mailbox. Those who reside overseas probably had theirs sent by first class which explains why those in France received theirs on March 20.
Standard Mail (domestic use only), also known as "bulk mail", is processed by the USPS on a “time available” basis. Standard mail is not forwarded or returned if undeliverable unless a special endorsement is used. Standard mail will typically be delivered in under 5 business days locally, but nationwide it could take 2 to 3 weeks. Standard Mail should not be used for time-sensitive mail. As with Presorted First-class, to receive the lower postage rate, the addresses must be NCOA updated, CASS certified, and put into presort order.
Standard Mail is the least expensive postage mode, approximately 32 percent less than the price of first class. Standard mail postage rates apply to mail up to 3.3 ounces. Mail heavier than 3.3 ounces will have a small weight surcharge.
