This MB OEM W123 plate frame has a rear bracket that fits perfectly in the two holes centered under the front bumper of my W113.

MB Part # A 123 810 00 14

MSRP: $110

~$70 online/wholesale

Matte Black painted metal; threaded holes.

Could dress up with 4 chrome bolts/nuts or MB Chrome Frame

W126 front fits W113 (with curvature)

W107 front may fit W113 (note curvature)

Will this part# 123 810 00 14 fit on my 1964 230 SL front bumper?  The holes underneath the front bumper are aprox 11 inches apart.  Thanks

Kayvan, Thanks for sharing the information.

I went through a similar exercise some time ago to try to find a suitable off the shelf front bracket.  I gave up the idea because I wasn't satisfied with the position of the license plate using the OEM brackets.  My taste is for the horizontal center line of the bumper to be more or less the same as the horizontal center line of the plate.  I have a "fake" modern style German Plate that I sometimes use that accomplishes this.   

The other front tag I use is the original aluminum Zoll plate that came on the car when delivered.  It is also mounted in the shared horizontal center line manner.  I fabricated a backing plate to provide better support and used the original mounting holes to mount  the plate.  I extended the backing plate on each side of the Zoll plate to mount my Silver Star Preservation Badge and the soon to be delivered SL113 group badge!  A similar backing plate can be used for the standard front license plates required in states such as yours.

For Euro version this is the info I received from Mercedes:

A 116 817 00 78 changes to A 123 817 03 78 - 380,34 zł + VAT

This is what you get for 1238170378. Very nice I have to say. No idea yet if holes fit, but I do not care. Curvature fits more or less.

In Bud's Benz News Letter a few weeks ago Dave had a video of there front Mounting Plate and Hardware for US Pagoda's
