AMG wheels, dual exhausts, custom seat covers & free flowing engine cooling. What more could you ask for?

Thoughts:
Missing black grill inserts in front of radiator (perhaps transplanted to the rims?)
Must be 215 tires-look too big. Black rims look odd.
Seat modification-looks like they came from a w124 (e320). Actually look good-but I prefer the original seats. Door panels are nicely done but really look out of place.
Engine area accent paint areas (overflow tank, power steering reservoir). Personal preference-don't like the choices-but maybe if the paint quality was better it would be better.
Gear shift-oh my!
Best,
Tom

What's the point of this car? If you're going to modify the thing, why not give it some real Detroit muscle under the hood instead of just painting a few parts red under there and changing the exhaust? It's all bark and no bite!

I have seen this car before. It was advertised on www.traderonline.com about six or so months ago. Strange thing is that it had Nevada plates and the car was located in Las Vegas! It seems like sellers always emphasize "California Car". I wonder if these dealers just happen to have a few extra plates to place on cars such as this one?

I wonder why the spare tire is not where it belongs; will not fit?

Yes, I'll bet you're right. I'll bet the spare is too wide to allow the boot lid to close.

I guess it comes with a squeegee instead of wipers too....what a deal!

I'm so glad, I went to great length to obtain the genuine passenger side mirror for my pagoda. It looks so much better. IMHO when Paul Bracq designed that car, it was a masterpiece. Mere mortals are not capable to improve on it's looks. Just like a beautiful woman.

Some people get board and want to stand out of the crowd. Its too bad this fellows money wasn't spent to restore the cars delicate lines and classic interior. If it is in deed a 250SL that would make it quite a nice car to own.

Two exhaust pipes & mufflers at the rear, one on each side!
The "restorer" could not find the money to buy a lid for the ash tray.
Strange side mirrors.
Too modern of a steering wheel.
The AMG wheels look like they're from a W107.
Modern stereo with face plate removed, does face plate come with the car??
Matching oversized spare tire/wheel does not fit on factory mounting point.
It's a shame that anyone would call this car "restored". It should be advertised as "modified". What a scam! If anyone does buy it, I hope they really understand what they're getting for their money.

Do you guys remember a Tom Hanks movie called Bachelor Party? Remember the the guy who was in love with the bride to be? Tom's buddies stole the ex-boyfriend's Porche 911. When they returned the car it was jacked up in the back with wide racing slicks and flames paited on its side. This car instantly reminded me of that movie.
