The ending ruined it for me - you nosey parked it, Garry! No quick get-aways next time out.
(Nice work ;D)

Garry,
Very nice --- you're looking good these days. Hell of a nice shed.
I don't do facebook so could not see your video via your link --- however, ran into it while searching for w113 videos on youtube.
Great to see!

Thanks Oz.
If we get any decent weather this weekend I would like to do another. Learning how to use a GoPro camera..
See you in Italy??

Italy is the plan --- hopefully all stays the course for this year.

Good job Gary, After the snow this past weekend here it's good to see some greenery.
My 4Runner is somewhere out there.
-
Bob,
Not sure after three years living in Bucks County PA in the ‘90s that I ever want to see that white fluffy stuff again 8)

The amount of traffic was remarkable.
The traffic report here just announced a few closed roads due to flooding and expectations of continued torrential downpours and very high winds. I'll take my 4X4 to work today.
Thanks for sharing

Loved the video Garry, well done ! Thanks for sharing.
Had mine out for a spin two weeks ago, the weather was, however, only a teaser. Here we are April 10 and we have blowing snow outside. Oh well June will be here soon :)
What video camera did you use Garry?

Rolf-Dieter,
It was a Go Pro Hero 4. I am hoping to make some more but have not been able to get full internet access for the past month or more and waiting for the house to be rewired and new cables to be laid down the road. It is taking ages to get the telco to do anything so I only have a small wireless dongle I am using at the moment and cannot properly up load the movies to work on them.

Started again late into Spring this year - as usual with me. :o
:-X :-X :-X :-X
Nonsense... Messed up Garry's thread.
Sorry for that ...
Shall not happen again.

Two days later in Ostercappeln near Osnabrück again.

Hi Achim,
I lived in Osede very near to Osnabrück In the 50s before immigrating to Canada. My brother lives in Hilter. Perhaps next time I'm in the area we can have a coffee or a Stein of cold beer :)
Thanks for sharing the photos, the roads look familiar.

I've already driven 5 different 113's this year and none of them were my own car and even though I put insurance on it over a month ago, it's still in my barn. If I did take it out, I wouldn't have any room for it because the shop is so full right now. A 220Sb is leaving Friday but more 113's are coming to take it's place.
Be careful what you ask for..................

Hi Achim
The engine is okay for the mosel trip in Juli??

I was driving through Mount Bridges, Ontario today and I spotted a 113 coming my way as we passed the Ford dealership. As it got closer I noticed it was a blue 280SL with hard top. Yup, it was Rolf Dieter in the Blue Tornado.
He didn't even wave at me either. He was looking straight ahead in a very serious German sort of way. :)
-
Sorry Dan, I did not see you.
Yes it was me, I washed both my cars today and decided to take my favorite for a spin. Wouldn't you know it I got into a bit of rain. Figures, wash your car and it will rain.
I had a nice cruse for about an hour and a half, on the way home I stopped at my favorite tree an Ontario Red Bud near our naighbourhood that is a bit larger then the one in my back hard.

Hey Rolf-Dieter,
Unbelievable. This sounds too weird to be true. This is great news! Just let me know when you are over the next time and we are going to schedule for a beer, some coffee, and a nice drive (if the weather permits...).
Great ... looking very much forward to seeing you soon.
Everything else by P/N
All best,
Achim

Dieter,
I think that tree might be a crab apple. We have Red Bud trees here in our yard and the flowers are about the same color but are smaller. Both trees look very similar but when the Red Bud tree forms leaves they will look heart-shaped while the crab apple tree will will have smaller, darker green, leaves. Red Bud trees form bean pods that carry their seeds while crab apples look like large cherries.
Not much to do with cars but then not everything has to be. :)
-
Hi Achim,
Yes it is true. I send you a PM with details. I certainly will let you know next time I am in Germany.
Dieter
Don,
It is indeed a Red Bud tree, just like mine, I took a close up of mine. Leaves are now starting to come out and yes they are heart scraped as you can see. The leaves are the same on the larger tree above.
Btwnext time your in town, drop by for coffee or a glass of wine. You know I'm good for it :)
Dieter
Back to the Subject now .... 2016 ... Pagoda / Pagode Drive :)
