Title: horn wont stop as soon as i put the steering wheel on

hi guys as soon as I put the steering wheel on the horn comes on is there something missing . any help thanks

Which model?

 I had the same problem on a 230SL once and a spring was missing. It wasn't the one on the steering shaft and rather the one under the contact plate. A look in my parts book didn't show a picture of it but there was part number 111 994 04 35 for it listed as '' annular spring '' .

doc I just got home found a spring in the box put it on and guess what , horn only works when you push the horn ring how bout that . I love goin to the doc, what would we do with out you .cheers mate you made my day
