Title: Fuel pump activates when door is opened

When I open the door the fuel pump activates in a slow rpm and it stops once the door is closed.  When the key is turned on the pump increases to normal speed.  Anyone have any ideas on what would cause this strange occurrence?

Perhaps, check your brake fluid level (most likely low) as that describes the pump running when circuit 54 and circuit 30 are shorted as the door is opened due to the door ajar light circuit being activated.
