Title: 123 Coupe Diesel
Post by: wjsvb ✝︎ on October 31, 2015, 01:47:30
The dust is settling on my purchase of a sad-looking '78 300CD...$700 for a running car with shabby paint and a vandalized interior.  Oh well, I got a parts car (also 300CD) for $690 with most of the needed Parts, esp. the interior, a VERY nice one, and many needed parts big and small and some leftover scrap metal.  Next step is to drive the car to my warehouse and start the process.  The parts car will go to my friend's junkyard in Cochranville PA to be stripped of all needs and left for dead.  Only big thing still needed (he says hopefully) is a window rubber for the rear vision (cracks in rubber look bad and leak) and paint ($$$ >:(.  Jon

Good deals. Nurse it back to health and enjoy; a 1982 300D was one of my all-time favorite cars.

Indeed, I am squarely in Cees' corner on the 123 coupes, just, lovely, lovely cars.

We have a silver turbo coupe. Probably the ultimate diesel car to own in the 80's.
