Now that most shine and shows are coming to an end, and a lot of us are spending weekends shuttling to and fro with childrens sports its time to think about winter projects.
First and foremost I need to address my heat issue. I can easily climb over 200 despite recored radiator, new water pump, fan clutch, system bleed, shroud I think I need an electric fan. Does anyone have a resource for these? and pics of an install.
Second project will be a formal engine detail with serious work done on my aged compartment.
Anyone else have plans??

Put the right coil spring pads back in so the SL sits right. replace all the rubber hoses in the engine bay and therostate and flush with new MBZ coolant. Have my seats restuffed with new horse hair pads. Put on new fog lights and respray the inside of the front and rear bumpers to guard against rust. Put on new bumper guard seals. Fix soft top frame. And last rechrome top header peice & put on new windshield trim.

Hi Peterm,
Here is a pretty good thread on over heating. I have installed an electric fan. It's a very tight fit. Do you have A/C? You might want to consider replacing the mechanical fan with an electric puller fan. I looked at the engine of a new 500E and discovered it did not have a mechanical fan, only electric.
