Dear All,

Firstly, a thanks for the excellent advise the Pagoda Technical Manual provides, and the advice in the forums - appreciated!

Appreciate any guidance re obtaining parts for the distributor vacuum advance on an early 230SL (ref http://www.sl113.org/wiki/Electrical/Distributor#Advance).

The distributor is model VJUR6 BR 49T (photo of advance and distributor model plate as attached).  I am not getting full ignition advance, (so is on the safe side) and want to service/replace the vacuum advance diaphragm/pull rod mechanism part or ideally the whole vacuum advance unit - there does not appear be a separate Bosch or Mercedes part # for this.

Contact the Benz Doctor he will fully service your distributer or supply parts if required.

Thanks for suggestions.

Will see what I can do here closer to home first (home in Perth, Australia) then if need to look at shipping distributor to US,  repair and back home which would be 3 or so weeks off the road.
