Title: MB service advisors! What do they know?

My service advisor told me that a tire alignment tool for my ML350 was an aftermarket piece.  Mercedes does not have it and that the car never came with it or any other tools.

What sort of nonsense have you gotten from your experiences?

I've only gone to Mercedes dealers twice dor the Pagoda: once in 1998 to get some parts, and the parts counter guy said "we don't really cater to these old cars, better go to Van Dijk"  so I've been buying my parts there ever since. Second time was last year, for a thermostat gasket, and this time they were happy to serve me. No nonsense really, except as we know Mercedes has discovered that we can be good business once more.
