How the heck is the gauge going to work. This is supposed to be a sealed unit, no sensor bulb.
-
I think it's a temp gauge for a Fintail, but the capillary tube has been cut making it useless.
-
Well that was too easy wasn't it!
It's out of a 230SL and when I reported to the customer that his temp gauge wasn't working I got the infamous, "It was working when I left the car with you" response..........................

Who removed it from the car? You are customer? What is screwed into the place where the temp sensor goes?
-
The bulb that is not attached to the gauge in the photo remains in its place in the head.
-
So who removed the gauge? Can the customer blame it on you?

Bulbs are overrated anyway. BTW, what wattage was it? :)

I love the "every since syndrome" .

Scoot, don't worry, I have been in this game long enough to know how to deal with customers like this!
The distance between my left shoulder and my right shoulder is sufficiently large so as to be able to accommodate these misperceptions without getting upset or compromising the customer's pride.
