Hi All,
Is this particular car expensive because it is a RHD, California Coupe, seemingly a final year production being 1971, plus having the added bonus of a sunroof with manual winding handle? ::) ;D

Hi Yem,
From what I've seen on prices in Europe and in general world wide I think the car is priced fairly. However, if I would be in the market for one I would consider two things:-
One ... Find someone in London to have a first hand look at the car and report back
Or
.... Consider a holiday trip and decide for myself.
We do have very knowlageble members on this site (also in London) that could be a purchasers eyes and ears.

Hi Rolf,
Fair comment and thanks for your view. I am definitely not on the lookout for one, but it was just while browsing and upon a closer look that certain aspects of this car caught my attention, such as the unusual sunroof, which presumably is an aftermarket addition.

Looks like the same car ( NZ rego HU1 ) I did extensive work on including the sunroof 10 years ago,and was for sale in NZ in the past year for 38K british pounds.

The fact that HR Owen are selling it at that price says everything.
-
I'd say it's expensive due to the fact that it's for sale in one of the most expensive exclusive car showrooms on the planet, even if there is no soft top

I whizzed past this while on my Vespa yesterday
Chances are it's one of the most expensive car showrooms on the planet, being in Mayfair/on Park Lane
Oh, and it's a Brabus
