Hello,
I am currently restoring my 230 SL. After replacing the floor panels, I am working towards the back and the side panels.
I have a question regarding the rubber seal or rubber strip that goes between the fender and the wheel well or wheel house.
How exactly is the rubber strip in the fender/ wheel housing installed?
I assume, the fender is in that area not welded to the wheel housing?
Are there other areas of the body that require theses rubber strips?
