Title: Transmission ready to instal

After way too many months my 280SL is going to the shop to get the transmission installed. I had a catastrophic tranny failure. Multiple attempts to repair that didn't work and finally  put a few extra transmissions together to make one. Car has been sitting for 20 months.
It will be like getting a new car when I get it back.
Glad to get it out of my office garage.
