Title: Modification to make late style fuel sender work in early style car...????

Has anyone done this?  Figure out the wiring and resistance changes to use a later style fuel sender in an early style car that has the toilet bowl float style sender?

Or does anyone know where I can get an early style sender?

Scoot,
Try Gernold at SLTech. Last time I was there he had of the old senders on hand. I had to replace mine.
