Hi guys
Need to some advice please, Have just changed the fuel filter in the engine bay on my 230sl. The old one was real filthy with loads of floating dirty particles in the old fuel in the filter housing. Anyway new one is installed. Now my question is do I just turn over the car until the fuel feeds it way through and start or do I need to bleed anything first ?
Many Thanks

You shouldn't turn the car. Just make contact with the carkey and the pump will fill the line.

Hi Rudy
Thanks for your reply, makes sense. I will be doing this over the weekend now when the weather is better and can get car out of garage. Don't think it will go down to well with the wife starting car up in garage lol.
Thanks

When you would turn the car (upside down) the water and oil would also leak out. ;-)
