Obviously something bizarre going on with this one.  The same car was listed on Craigslist for 15K.

Money laundering.

Probably just one of those scams; there is no car for sale, just a fraudulent scam artist. My guess is you replies go unanswered, you won't get an address to see the car, etc. This is all old stuff that gets repeated ad nauseum.

Up to 80K for 2 pictures and a 1 sale seller?  I sense a scam as well.

2 bidders took it to 200K.  If the seller is real it will be relisted.  I think the 2 bidders are scammers...

According to the eBay that we get in the UK the car sold for US $22,655.00, have we missed something over here?

Look at the bid history.  The 200k bid was canceled by the seller.  The second bidder also bid 200K but it will not show since the top one was canceled.

Not to beat a dead scam --- but the minimal photos don't match each other --- white steering wheel in one, and black in another, black wipers in one and silver in another.   Car is advertised as being in USA but the SiXT rental truck in the background probably means that photo was taken in Europe.  Sixt car rental now exists in USA, but I don't believe Sixt "trucks" are in the USA yet.   Sure, it can all be explained as legit --- but doubt it.

Brad,
I have looked at the bid history, all the last bids (approximately) 20 are for the sum of $22,655.00 from the 30th April to 1st May all by the same bidder exxxc.
There is no larger figure.

I looked at it before he canceled the bid and the one was bigger each time until it hit 200K.  As soon as the top bid is canceled the next bidder if it is the same bidder will show that they bid but not what it was unless it is out bid.  That is how many tries he made to see the top bidders amount.  I actually think the winning bidder was a scammer also.
