the cover is blue but yellowed a bit with age
getting more black than blue
I want to make the party an honest offer
anybody have a guideline?

Thank you all

I paid $125 a few years ago for this one in new condition.  (edition C 1967 10126 in the top corner)  Prices have gone up since.  There is one in rough condition on ebay today for $759 that has been for sale since I bought mine.  I would offer around $200 if the pages are all tight and not falling out.

Brad,
the one in your link on eBay is Edition "B", those are very rare and quite desirable because this edition shows the dimensions of screws and not just the DIN or MB number.
Michael,
a decent Edition C should not cost more than $125, perhaps $150 for a really very nice one.

I was not aware there was a difference other than a later version.

There are a number of different versions of the parts books. There is an article in Pagoda Notes on this (volume 2 issue 3 has the information). A more detailed review to come in the next (my plan anyway) Pagoda World.

Just to clarify, you are talking about the big dealer parts book that has part numbers listed, and you are not talking about the small glove box parts book that just has pictures...  right?

I don't think that is going to be happening.  The old parts books are like gold even more than the BBBs.  It doesn't matter if it's pristine - it's a book you _might_ use to look up a part number that has been subbed out in EPC.  It's a useful reference but not something that is used often.  A while back I was buying these (for various cars) when I saw them if they were cheap just because they are really cool.  I don't think that the seller is going to get $759 for his, but I would be very surprised to see one in any condition on ebay for under $200.
