Title: Injector differences?

There is a risk that this question has been asked and answered previously (although I've been through several threads looking for it), but are different injectors required for a 230 SL vs 250/280?
I'm planning on replacing all 6 to cure the gasoline smell in the oil and the rich running and I've found various options on the German eBay, but most only specifies 280 SL as suitable.
And since they are RIDICULOUSLY expensive, I want to be 100% sure that I'm getting the right ones :-)

Hi, have you thought about getting your exisitng ones tested? There is a very good youtube on this, I can't give you the link but if you go back several pages on Andy Burns thread he gives it there.  Not only that, Andy tested and cleaned his, over to you Andy.

Thanks Rutger, I have considered it - but it's more or less an issue of finding the time in my age-combo of a busy career and small kids. So I'm going all in (although it is a considerable more expensive exercise) and replacing the lot. Then I plan to have the old ones reconditioned and to keep them as spares or throw them on eBay :-)

These are Bosch Part #0 437 004 002/Mercedes Part #000 078 11 23.

Note the price of $98.32 each (!) I researched and shopped for several weeks and $98.32 was the absolute lowest price I could find. Like you, I intend to keep my old injectors as spares. ,,take care, Charles

Yet the listing only specifies 280 SL...they could be wrong though? Have you tried fitting yours?
BTW - great link you provided, but with the USD being so strong at the moment, import duties and shipping (ironically back to Europe), I'll probably get them on the German eBay instead :-)

I've just found the box from the one injector I replaced years ago, does anyone know whether this MB part # ( A 000 078 11 23) matches the Bosch part # mentioned previously in this thread?
