Title: E30 BMW?

I'm thinking about buying a beater E30 '92 BMW 318i convertible. Any thoughts on these cars?

It is a nice car if in good shape, or when you do get it into good shape. Some of us have owned BMW's and loved them.

I thought the 325's were the desired workhorses and not the 318's.
