Hello,
I am restoring my 1970 280SL (US version). Unfortunately the fuse card in the fuse box has weathered and partly disintegrated over time. I can read part of it, English on one side and German on the other. I have printed the details from the technical manual, but it would be nice to have at least a copy in the fuse box. Does anyone sell copies, or would it be possible for someone to scan both sides of an original and post it here?
Happy Motoring! :)
Matthew

Hello Matt, Here are a couple of scanned images of my fuse card that you could scale and print. You can PM me if you like and I can send higher res copies to you by e-mail.

This is a perfect example of a small project that this Club could undertake. Anyone have any thoughts on whether there's an intellectual property issue with Mercedes corporate regarding the fuse card? If not, surely a printer somewhere would undertake to recreate the look & feel of the paper.

First and for most I have a question? " is the fusee card for the 113 chassis the same through out production from 1964 230SL to the end 1971 280SL?
The fuse card is double sided and multi language I have a 1868 280SL and my fuse card is perfect shape. I can call my old
vendor who made me some fuse cards for a 1968 280SE cabriolet many years ago not the same for the W113 SL Pagoda many of our club members are really interested in this kind of project.? The fuse cards I made for the SE were double sided from the Gentleman's original card and a light clear was put on them to with stand moister. I be more than happy to share thequote and place an order ffor 200 pieces if this going to be a popular item needed?
Please let me know?

I might just be that gentleman that Bob made the fuse cards for although a have a '68 coupe not a cab. ::) Attached is my original front and back. The part Bob made was beautiful and just like the original. It is on the car now.
I would highly recommend the quality. Looks like there are some very minor differences to 49er's including the part number, but basically the same.
As far as copyright, I am not a lawyer, but there are no references to the Mercedes name, only the part number.

After reading all these posts I looked in the fuse box of my newly acquired 280SL and was very pleased to discover TWO identical fuse cards.
Both had the same part number.
My luck continues with this car.
