are they equally appealing to you?

They look the same to me, broadly speaking. The shot on the left is a little over exposed, with perhaps a little too much flash from the reflective surfaces. The right hand picture is slightly more dull and, we're I the photographer, would be happier with the curves (in a Photoshop sense) in the left hand shot. Also, whilst both pictures appear to be the same, there is quite a difference in the rear end between both models. Whilst the left hand shot appears less well defined, especially towards the mud guard, the greater definition of the right hand shot is overly exposed.

So, Stan, speaking as a keen amateur photographer, the differences are clear to me to the extent that I'm surprised you had to ask the question, but I'm coming at this from a more technical perspective. Fine detail aside - and most people on this forum would miss that detail (I am an expert) - I would simply restate that the bikes appear to be the same. It's quite obvious.

Separately, bikes aside, I don't know if anyone spotted the incredibly hot chick in the left picture. Amazing legs and great figure. I mean, just incredible. Anyone else pick up on that, or is it just me? Anyone?

The really disturbing element of these two pictures is that the model on the right forgot to bring a swim suit and had to borrow the one that the model on the left had just been wearing. Amazingly, the same suit seems to fit both models considering their different builds. ???

Personally, I must admit to finding the image on the left more appealing than that on the right. It's the shoes you see. Hate those open sided shoes, and they are particularly impractical for riding a motorbike. Dangerous, in fact

So for that reason, the one on the left is more appealing

I find the one more interesting from a composition standpoint.  The one on the left is just another cheesecake shot of someone wearing ridiculous for the product being advertised.  The one on the right instead makes a statement about genders and roles.  He looks like he could ride the motorcycle, albeit not in those shoes.   The one on the right is interesting, the one on the left is just one of millions of the same thing over and over again.

I agree with you Scoot. Then again, somehow I always manage to work up an appetite for a nice meal, even though I may have had the same dish umpty times before ...

Following the reasoning presented by Dan (which I find perfectly logical), the real appeal would be if we could see the left side model AFTER off-loading her bikini to the right side one ;D. Sadly, only the photographer was able to appreciate that :-\
