Title: Thermal Time Switch Location for a '70 automatic??

Hi, trying to identify the time switch on my 1970 sl automatic.  Is it the small switch opposite the vaccum assisted switch next to the speed relays? Thanks!

Hi James.

The Thermo-Time Switch (TTS) on my car is located on a small housing attached to the block, just behind the Fuel Injection Pump.

This is a part that often gets overlooked in the cold start (and warm)troubleshooting process. A new one runs about 80 bucks and is simple to put in.
