Does anyone have plans on how to construct a Kinder seat? I searched the forum and the question has been asked and no one has come up with an answer. I don't feel like spending 1k on something I can make out of plywood for less than $30.
thanks

I doubt that anyone, other than the factory, has ever built a Kinder Seat from scratch. I think you're on your own. If you do, share the knowledge. Take photos and let us see the progress and the results.
I haven't heard of anyone adding seat belts to a Kinder seat. That would be interesting too.

I collected several photos with the aim of building my own Kinder seat. I pulled photos off ebay and anywhere else I could think of. It looks very simple to make and the uphostry was simple as well and the folds were actually a bit crude. Send me a personal email and I'll see if I can send you the pictures I have. 1 sheet of marine grade plywood should be enough for mistakes and the final product.
I lost interest in the name of safety for mykids.

Same here, I have also collected some photos with the intention of building one. Looks very easy and not complicated at all. Problem is to have the exact measurements. It helps if someone has the seat out for restoration and could give measurements. Best is to borrow one... Here are some picts which might help. I might have stolen them from this forum, hope the owner doesn't mind. Please share more info if you manage to get in touch with an original.

Bkk,
Detlef Hahn manufactured a seat and posted the attached files with dimensions on his web site : http://www.pagodentreff.de/diskussionsforum/t7285-notsitz-2.html
Send him an email if you need more info.
