I stumbled on this today:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=acEIycUg5CQ
about restoring a 1970 280SL. There is no commentary, just music. Too bad.
It's not really video but the slides are very good, I think.
The guy whose name is on the video is Palle Jensen, but I couldn't find him on Facebook, Google+ or Pagodentreff.de
I made screenshots of most of the slides in the video. But it wouldn't be polite to distribute them without asking the guy who made the video, and if we find him, he'd probably offer the original pictures anyway.

That is a lot of work requiring specialized skills. This type of work costs a fortune if done by professionals. But the value of Pagodas going up, we may see more and more of this type of work, though total cost will still be beyond market value of the car.

That could be a slideshow of my car with maybe a little less work in the cowl area. At today's OEM part prices I am guessing you would have about 35,000 USD in the repair before final paint.

Opening shot shows a UK RHD car but the working shots are of a LHD car. Still, great work.

Stick - Hofmanns of Henley had it in early 2012 and sold it for 72,000 pounds in mid/late 2012. They sent me heaps of photos of the full resto in 2005. Photos of car still on their website
