Title: paint mixing ratio's for dunklegrun No 268
Post by: rutger kohler on December 26, 2014, 21:21:43
Hi, can anyone give me enough information to mix the above colour plse?  I have gone on the technical manual and so tried the Standox website, got to where "special search" should come up and only found "advanced search" which doesn't work for me.  I also went up on the Glasurit website but couldn't drill down into anything useful.  The car is a 1969 280 SL  and the Vin plate paint no is 268H, i understand from the technical manual that the H signifies Herberts paint.

I'm usually pretty handy with a computer but might be missing something.  Any help much appreciated. A PM relpy would be fine too.

many thanks Rutger Kohler

Problem over, I went to my local SCA shop and much to my amazment they got a hit on 268 immediately as Dunkel green.  Mixed some up for me and it looks fine.
