Title: Injector pump calibration and overhaul
Post by: FRANK REAY on December 19, 2014, 08:11:30
I know that this subject has been raised before but has anyone read Michael Burgess Mechanical fuel Injection book.
I intend making a test bench and testing his overhaul and calibration method using a spare PES 6KL 70/120 R11 pump that is gathering dust in my workshop.
I am aware that the book refers to the Porsche MFI pump which is fitted with a different warm up system but  lets give the man credit for taking time to compile the detailed book.
Whilst on the subject has anyone got a copy of the 230SL data sheet for this type pump.

I have a copy and consider it an excellent reference. It doesn't matter that he is Porsche focused, the principles are the same.
