In between football games, scouring the Technical Forum in an attempt to identify the color of my car - repainted from white in the 80's to a dark navy blue.
My guesses in priority sequence:
332 G
dark blue
1963-1967
904 G
midnight blue
1968-1971
350 H
medium blue 1963-1968

Can't really tell from pictures as it all depends on the lighting. Keep in mind it may not even be a MB colour, it may be a colour a PO just really liked. The original colour is coded on a tag on the inside fender, drivers side. You could take it to someone that paints cars and he might be able to match it.
-
Original Code was for white. Nothing in the records when repainted in 1986 other than the INVOICES for the work.
I could ask paint shop to match, but thought that it might be best to order a touch up color(s) to try in an inconspicuous area.

I have a 350H hard top and it looks darker than that. As Jordon said, it is very hard to identify it from photos.

jf308,
you can find the color codes here with samples ... hope this helps.

Like Jordan mentioned...it may not even be an MB colour (or color). Assuming nothing is noted on the invoices?
-
You guys are right. Who knows, although with the money that the PO spent on refresh work (paint, top, interior)...I can only figure that he went MB.
I might just buy the dark blue (332H) touch up and see, unless someone else has one in one of these colors.
Thanks. John

Yes John,
It's certainly a 332 or 904 like color.
Looks great!
Good luck!
