Title: Color Code Dash

Does anyone know the dash beige/cream color code?  My car interior code 249 - which is bamboo with brown carpet - the dash is a light beige color - need color code for that.

On your 280SL with leather interior - designation Bambus 8011  (Bamboo 8011) goes for seats, door insides, dash, on soft top cover etc.  I have the same in my SL.

The seats, door skins, dash, on soft top cover should all match. So Bamboo in your case.

Maybe I was not clear - the metal part of the dash, front of glove box - next to gauges.
that cream color - interested in that color code -

That is supposed to be your exterior color.
That paint code can be found on a plate on the left (driver's side in my case) side under the hood.
Do a search for paint codes or look in the tech manual under Data Cards and Color Codes, Body and Paint Number Plate.
Even if your car was re-painted a different color, often painters/owners leave the dash alone, so that is your original color and documented on the plate.
