My friend in Brazil has an two pin connector located near the fuse panel that is not terminated. He believes the.connector is part of the emissions system. His car has an auto tranny. I think this connector terminates at a switch close by. Does anyone know where this connector terminates?
Thanks for your help

You could start sleuthing here: http://www.sl113.org/wiki/Electrical/EmissionControlSystem

Thanks Peter.
I've looked at this and still can't find where this connector terminates. It is the same type and size as the connector on the rear of the window washer pump.

Transmission kickdown switch under accelerator pedal on the outside of the firewall? My car has been apart for 8 years so I could be wrong.

Hi Jeff,
Maybe fuel shutoff solenoid or idle throttle switch ?

Pictures may help to identify.

It is probably for the throttle position switch on the firewall. It signals to the emissions system that the throttle is closed. There should also be a little arm on the throttle rod that runs across the firewall. But i thought this was only on 250s.
