Not sure what this thing is? this isnt my car but I found in in a pic on here.

Hi,
this is the neutral safety switch, it blocks the starter if you are not on P or N with your automatic transmission.

It turns on the reverse lights too (when you select reverse).
I'm in the process of replacing the cable that actuates the switch while I do a few other things.

Benzo, what color code do you have looks close to mine 903H. Nice clean engine BTW :)

Hi Rolf,  that was just a pic I found. It isn't my car. Wish it was.

It was easier to see in that pic because it was all cleaned up.

The photo is my engine bay as I was doing it up two years ago and the colour is 334 Light Blue.
