Title: Plate on the Automatik Gearbox

Does somebody have the length and width of the little plate riveted at the automatic gearbox ?
At my car this plate is missing. In the Technical Manual I didn`t find this plate, only the plates for the engine numbers.

- and already _have_ that plate?

Why don't you just take a little ruler and measure it.

here a picture if a 230SL automatic transmission plate with measures. Does anybody know if it's the same as a 280SL plate?

I measured my 1970 280SL 17mm X 60mm.
