Title: Need advise on buying rubber seal
Post by: bkksl on October 03, 2014, 09:35:02
Hello All,

Need advise on finding the best source for door, trunk, window, hardtop and soft top rubber seal.  I am thinking of getting after market seals but not sure how well the fit.  Any advise on where to buy high quality seal?

Thanks

Search for sellers of  URO parts (http://www.uroparts.com/uro/site/products/mercedes-benz) and compare prices.
Usually https://www.rockauto.com/ and http://www.fcpeuro.com/Mercedes~Benz-parts/Body-Exterior/  are among the least expensive.
HOWEVER, do buy the rubber strip on the A-pillar in which the window glides up and down from Mercedes because it is cloth covered, Aftermarket rubber seals are not.

Just went through this.

URO door seals are fine,

Trunk seal from Uro didn't fit well, Buy Mercedes

Windshield seal should be Mercedes, URO does not have "curves" in them

I agree with Alfred on the "A" pillar window track seals.  Mercedes only.

I don't know about the soft and hard top seals.

Just purchased door - soft top - trunk and windshield seals from Miller West. Very nice - excellent fit.

Miller aftermarket seal are nice excellent fit. Price is more than right and they know what they are doing.

A pillar - purchased MB Classic center, talk to John, he will not steer you wrong
