The winning goal was made near the 113 minute.

Congratulation to the new world champion and to all teams that have participated in the "Beautiful Game" all are winners!

BTW in my view things didn't end but started in that very minute. Before they were finalists of the World Cup. From the 113e minute on they were champions...

BTW. I took a drive on Saturday and mentioned to Peter (Member pj here) it would end in a 2 goal difference and a win for Germany ~grin~ Well I was half right ... Goes to show you what a difference it makes in life to be at the right place at the right time ... Sometimes it does come right down to that. Then you know that :)

In the end they are all winners in my eyes. It was a great tournament.

Hmm .... I am not so sure. Not every game was beautiful and certainly not all can be winners.
Reminds of the slogan that made a place near you quite famous, that is, "Lake Wobegon, where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average."

Nevertheless I agree, it was a good World Cup and now I can go back to work on the cars again!
