Where can I order touch up paint from for 230SL?  Code 050. I am in the UK.

I bought a small bottle of 050 from my local MB dealer a couple of years ago. I had a small chip next to the grill and it matched my original paint perfectly.

I went to a local shop that mixes and matches paint based up on the paint on your car. It took the Gentleman about 2 hours to exactly match my color. I needed to touch up the area where the right and left hardtop locking studs  enter the body. He did a good job. He only charged me $25- for a 5 once jaw of touch up paint.

Recommendation, perhaps ask a Benz, BMW or Porsche dealer where they get special paint prepared this might be one way for you to get a good match up.

Paintscrtch are good and they will ship international for the small paint touch up bottles but will not ship the preasurised cans due to IATA regulations on Air Carriage.

Halfords in the UK provide a paint mixing service (available in touch up bottle or spray cans). They matched the colour from their system using my paint code. I bought some last week and used it to spray a miss matched hubcap, the colour is spot-on.

Do these touch up paints work well with single stage paints too?
