Title: Spotting/info required/stolen 280sl

Its never good to see articles in classic car magazines/forums regarding stolen cars of any kind.   In this case in this weeks Classic Car Weekly there is a article on page 4 about a stolen 280sl 1970 Red which happened on the 5th of April.
This happened in Westcliff Essex.

I hope there is a good outcome for the owners.

I saw this in April and it prompted me to have a tracker fitted and agree a valuation with my insurer.

Already the tracker has proven great as it comes with an app so I can check the location (a gimmick yes but it gives peace of mind) and the insurers came back today and agreed £50k.

At least some good no matter how small came of this story.  That said, I feel for the guy who lost it.
