I have 2 new splash guards from Mercedes for the front wheel wells (my car did not have them when purchased). There are 6 holes in each - 5 large and 1 small at the bottom (see picture). I have the seals as well. How are they attached? Are they bolted in or do they use sheet metal screws. Any size or spec info for the fasteners is appreciated.

The partition panels (MB part name) are attached using #12 flange head hex screws and #12 fender washers (both available at bolt and screw stores). You might also try a MB dealership (part number N007976 005202). They might have them in the correct (I think) CAD plating.
The seal is installed as shown in my sketch (glued to the partition panel first).
I had to use an awl to align one partition panel hole with the matching body hole, against the compression force of the seal, in order to start a screw in an adjacent hole. Not an easy undertaking.

It is also advisable to coat the exposed wheel facing side of the new panels with chip seal as they will no doubt be exposed to quite a bit of 'gravel rash'. This is how it was done at the factory. If you want to go overboard also make sure they are painted the same color as the body.
The rubber seals Tom is referring to are quite hard to source. I currently need them as well and havn't been able to find a supplier. If anyone else has replaced them I would also appreciate a heads up on where you got them from.

I was able to get the rubber seals at the same time at the Classic Center in Irvine. I have coated the partition panels (splash guards) with Wurth Ultra High Build Underseal.
Thanks for the info on the fasteners - there's a metric fastener shop up the street called Global Metrics in Belmont CA that has all the right materials.

How much did the seals end up costing if you dont mind me asking.

The seals are $8.00 U.S. each at K&K. Shipping should be pretty cheap if they use a box that's just big enough.

The seals are part# 110-884-00-98 and list for $9.50 at any MB dealer and some on-line will give you 20% off. I have said this many times but it is worth checking your Mercedes dealer since many parts are still available and sometimes the prices will surprise you.
