I have a steel one from SLS in Germany, but I believe SVS in UK do an aluminium one.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and have been pleased with it.

Hi all

I always put my hard top of the floor on some wooden supports, the way it sits on the car. Doesn't storing it up right damage the chrome at the back bottom of the hard top?
I know it saves space.
if I can I will put a pulley and a claw kind of hardware that will lift the hardtop and store it hanging from the ceiling someday.
I saw a picture of one somewhere but don't remember where

cheers

There is a mass of articles on hardtop stands on the forum that a search of ‘hard top” will reveal at least two pages, or even try 'hardtop storage'  here are a couple

+1 on UK Custom covers. Got mine with the car 11 years back and it works a treat

Thank you all for you invaluable suggestions. I think UK Customs looks like a good one, so i will proceed wit that. They are around £160 with cover so not a bad deal I think.
