Today noticed this red 280 SL in Manhattan beach.

 Hello Pascal, you are a long way from home! Don't recoginize the SL but I do recognize the street. 40+ years ago I used to cruise through Manhattan Beach down Manhattan Blvd (where your picture was taken) practically every day on the way to work in my SL. Store fronts have changed but still a swell place to show off a Pagoda. It looks so small parked next to the SUV and the new "mini"!

Hi John,

You got that right, Manhattan blvd it was. My post definitely brought some good memories back. I got this right that you still have that very pagoda ? It is indeed a small car huh when compared to todays cars, even to a mini :).

And back since a few weeks already spot another one today, just posted it here.

Yes, the very same Pagoda sits in my garage today. We will celebrating it's 46 th birthday in a few months:-). Miss the top down rides along the Southern California beaches but sure a lot less traffic up here where we live now:-).
