Title: Seats on my 1969 SL 280

Dear All

I am in the prcoess of restoring my 1969 SL 280 ( US Spec) I am at the point of ordering a new MB Tex interior when for the first time I noticed that the drivers seats has 5 pleats (or pinches) in the seat base and backrest whereas the passenger only 4. Has anyone come accross this before? Could it be that the drivers seat is not the original? And if I order the new upholstery, will it fit???

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

yes, the seat is not a W113 type
