I just bought a 1972 350SL with a 4 speed manual trans. It drives pretty well and the weather's getting nicer around here too.

I have a R107 chassis 1984 280SL with a 5 speed manual. Very fun car to drive and I'm sure you will love yours.

Good going Jack. It needs some work and I plan to convert to Megasquirt. It's a D-Jet. I noticed you're in Milton. I'm from Oakville. Live in Virginia.
